PRESS RELEASE FROM THE PIEDMONT ENVIRONMENTAL ALLIANCE

Piedmont Environmental Alliance (PEA) announces that the 6th annual Piedmont Earth Day Fair will go on as scheduled this Saturday but will be held indoors due to the forecast for inclement weather. “The Fair will be moved indoors but will still offer the same great exhibits, live music, children’s activities, demonstrations and food as we would have offered outside. We encourage everyone who would have attended the outdoor Fair to visit us indoors,” says Terri LeGrand, Board Chair for PEA. The event is free.

PEA respectfully requests the assistance of the media to help us let Piedmont residents know that we have moved the Fair indoors for the safety and comfort of our exhibitors, volunteers and visitors.

Visitors should enter Gate 5 off of Deacon Blvd in order to park close to the Education Building. Follow signs for free parking.
