Local contractor takes 2,000 mile hike; seeks pledges for Mission Manna's work in Haiti

Local contractor John Kelleher is setting off to hike as much as he can of California's remote 2,650-mile Pacific Crest Trail — and is seeking "per mile" pledges in support of Asheville's Mission Manna, a nonprofit well known for its programs in Haiti.

Kelleher sets out on April 15, starting at the Mexico-U.S. border.
