Prtichard Park in Asheville was filled with 103 voices Monday evening as the Louisiana Baptist All-State Youth Choir performed for an hour. While gospel was the primary selection sung, there was also plenty of contemporary music and interspersed throughout was interpretive dance.

Under the direction of Stephen Holcomb of Dallas Baptist University, the trip is coordinated by Herb Armentrough of Broadmoor Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA.

The tour began in Shreveport on June 24 before heading to Chattanooga and then Asheville where the choir performed at the Biltmore Estate and Ridgecrest as well as in Pritchard Park. Next on the itinerary is Atlanta, Ga., and Birmingham, Ala., before ending up in Pineville, La., on July 1.
