Tags:The Association of Fundraising Professionals Western North Carolina Chapter (AFP WNC) will announce the winners of this year's National Philanthropy Day Awards on November 18, during an awards luncheon at the Renaissance Hotel in Asheville, North Carolina.
More than 400 guests are expected to attend and pay tribute to outstanding individuals, corporations, foundations and professionals in the fundraising world who exhibit excellence in their unique endeavors.
The AFP WNC is honored to announce the following 2010 National Philanthropy Day Award winners:
· Outstanding Philanthropist – S.M. “Buddy” Patton (in memoriam), Marilyn Patton & Barbara Blomberg
· Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser – Richard Hurley
· Outstanding Business – Parsec Financial
· Outstanding Foundation or Organization in Philanthropy – Eblen-Kimmel Charities
· Outstanding Fundraising Executive – Alex Comfort
· Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy – Carter Tindall
