Local sketch comedy troupe The Feral Chihuahuas put together an ambitious pair of satirical Thanksgiving-themed documentary videos they're calling "The Thanksgiving Day Massacre." The group premiered the series at last weekend's hilarious "Thankstravaganza" performances and then put them on YouTube for all of us to enjoy. Here's their description (and the vids):

Imagine a Ken Burns style documentary about two families battling each other from swing set forts just over the fence from each other.  Imagine post Thanksgiving dinner sloth coupled with drunkeness.  Imagine potato guns and bottle rockets.  Then imagine it told in a completely Civil War style (complete with Historian) though it took place in 2002.  We think you'll enjoy these.  They are also good to share with the family while sitting about awkwardly on Turkey Day.
