From the press release:
Western Carolina Medical Society (WCMS) Foundation has launched a major fundraising initiative in the form of a limited edition NC raffle to win a 2012 Ford Mustang. Tickets are $100 each (with a discount for bulk ticket purchases). A maximum of 1,000 tickets will be sold from now through November 30, 2011.

Proceeds will benefit the WCMS Foundation and its key community programs. The Foundation is the physician and community-led charitable arm of the Medical Society, addressing issues of access to quality healthcare, disparities in health, and wellness and prevention. The Foundation’s nationally recognized flagship program, Project Access, is a comprehensive volunteer primary and specialty physician network, providing access to healthcare at no charge for low income, uninsured residents of Buncombe County. The WNC Interpreter Network addresses disparities in health due to linguistic barriers. Additional programs that will benefit from the Mustang raffle are the Minority Medical Mentoring Program, the Dr. Charles Blair Health Parity Scholarship Fund and the Living Healthy program.

Sponsors of the Mustang Raffle are: Ken Wilson Ford of Canton, NC; AVL Marketing and Daniels Communications of Asheville.

WCMS is located at 304 Summit Street, Asheville. Phone is 828 274-2267. More information can be obtained on the WCMS website www.mywcms.org or directly to www.winyourmustang.com
