State Sen. Tom Apodaca and state Rep. David Guice told a gathering of local Republicans Tuesday that they are proud of what lawmakers were able to accomplish this past legislative session, now that the GOP controls the N.C. General Assembly for the first time in 140 years.
Senate Rules Chairman Apodaca called it "the experience of a lifetime."
"I can honestly say that I've enjoyed few things in my life as much as serving in the General Assembly this past year," he said during the Henderson County Republican Women's club monthly luncheon. "It has just been a new pace and a new attitude … (and) something that has needed to happen for quite some time." ...Read the full article
