buddyfisher1 posted this video showing how a Christian preacher protesting the Blue Ridge Pride event in downtown Asheville negotiates with a Police Officer Yelton to be allowed to use the public sidewalk despite the ongoing permitted Blue Ridge Pride event. The preacher maintains that the event's permit is a "nonexclusive" permit, which the he argues allows other uses, including protests of the permitted event.

The video description says: "Blue Ridge Gay Pride Festival security attempted to remove us from a public sidewalk and make us go to a designated "protest area" near the Port-a-Johns.
