The lowdown: Political newcomer Marc Hunt is off to a strong start, having led all contenders in the primary with 22.37 percent of the vote. To maintain that momentum, he says he’s doing a mix of neighborhood canvassing and phone banking at least twice a week. “More than the way I’m running my campaign,” notes Hunt, “I hope that my ideas and principles will prevail.”
