Brevard drummer Jeff Sipe rarely puts the sticks down these days.
After finishing a tour with the Jeff Coffin Mu'Tet, he's teaming up with B-3 organ master Ike Stubblefield and Austin swamp-rocker Papa Mali in a new soul power trio that performs at MoDaddy's in Asheville tonight.
The Jeff Coffin Mu'Tet, featuring bassist Felix Pastorius, stopped at Pisgah Brewing a couple weeks ago for an electrifying night of modern jazz. ...

Before I watched the video I was gonna say the unknown guitarist would have been Mike Barnes since that video was taken during the time Jeff, Mark and Mike were also playing as a trio known as Kai-Zen.
Of course I watched it and it's obviously not Mike Barnes. Then it hit me....he does resemble Jimmy Herring but it's kinda hard to tell because the quality of the video isn't great. I doubt it is Jimmy but it definitely looks like it could be.
