Plant restaurant is offering a vegan Thanksgiving dinner (the day before Thanksgiving) to benefit Animal Haven of Asheville. The cost is $30/ person with optional $14 three-course wine parings. The menu can be viewed at plantisfood.com.
Animal Haven provides shelter, veterinary care and rehabilitation for life (or until someone comes and adopts one of their animals). Although their emphasis is on farm animals, they also have cats and dogs that desperately need a home.
