The Grove Bark Inn Gingerbread Doghouse Competition is open to the public today from 2-7 p.m. and runs through Wednesday, Dec. 7. The whimsical display benefits local pet charities Animal Compassion Network, Asheville Humane Society, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, Humane Alliance and Paws on a Mission.
Similar to The National Gingerbread House Competition™, contestants are invited to build a doghouse made entirely of edible materials — with a twist: Entries must be constructed and composed completely of dog-edible materials.
