A police employee who posted profane Facebook comments about Occupy Asheville protesters was back at work this week after a demotion.

Lynn Fraser returned to the job Dec. 7 as a dispatcher. She had been a forensics specialist.

She was put on paid leave Nov. 7 while city officials reviewed her actions.

Fraser said on Facebook she was “glad to be off work and not dealing with (profanity) that want to preach their ‘Constitutional rights’ to me, then in the same breath tell me that videotaping them in a PUBLIC park (which none of them worked and contributed tax money to pay for) is an invasion of privacy.”
