On Asheville-owned property just down the hill from City Hall and the Buncombe County Courthouse sits what could be the first gas station of the future — a solar-powered charging station for electric cars. In a partnership with federal, North Carolina, Asheville City and a slew of businesses, Biowheels Responsible Transportation dedicated its first such facility.
