Local trio Alligator Indian describes itself as a "psychedelic crust-wave dreamcore avant-country & western garage pop experimental punk band." They are Christian Church, Spooky Bubble and Mayor Prankster (probably not the names their moms call them) and they're baaaack. At Fred's Speakeasy (122 College St., Asheville), that is. According to the flyer for the Saturday, July 16 show, Alligator Indian will be joined by "garage-punk duo ER Airplane and young punk sensations The Citizens to help them max out the fuzz pop dance. Jym Chapman and the Migrant Workers from Charlotte will also be joining the Ashebros." 10 p.m., free.
