The Asheville Track Club (ATC) announces the most popular race series in the area, the Triple Crown Series which includes the: Ramble Run 12K/5K on Saturday, May 12, benefiting the WNC Foundation Women’s Fund; Belle Chere 5K on Saturday, July 28, benefiting ARC of Buncombe County and Thomas Wolfe 8K on Saturday, October 20, benefiting the Thomas Wolfe Memorial.
The Triple Crown Series is a part of the ATC Grand Prix Series. Participants may register before May 1 for all three races at one time, are guaranteed a spot, and save up to $48 on entry fees. The first 100 Triple Crown Series entrants receive a free ATC logo shirt. In 2011 over 3000 runners and walkers participated in these races, raising over $11,000 in support for local charities.
