Laurey Masterton of Laurey’s Gourmet Comfort Food will host A Taste of Honey, a honey tasting event as part of ASAP’s Get Local initiative. A Taste of Honey will feature tasting stations of local and regional honey with accompanying hors d’oeuvres. Attendees will be asked to record their thoughts about the selected honey and could end up in Laurey’s forthcoming book Every Third Bite. Honey experts will also be on-hand with their product. A portion of the proceeds will support ASAP. ASAP’s Get Local campaign highlights a local ingredient each month that reflects our region’s changing, seasonal harvest.
Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at Laurey’s.
