The 8th annual Arden Community Health Fair set for this Sunday

Hendersonville, N.C. (January 13, 2012) — Park Ridge Health and the Arden Adventist Church are partnering to offer free health screenings for the community at the 8th Annual Arden Community Health Fair this Sunday, Jan. 15, from 1 – 5 p.m., and Monday, Jan. 16, from 8 a.m. – noon. The event will take place at Arden Adventist Church, located at 35 Airport Rd. in Arden. All screenings are free, open to the public and do not require an appointment.

Free screenings will include: pap smear, prostate exams and PSA, body mass index and blood pressure, as well as hearing, bone density, feet, vision, oral cancer, skin cancer, and lipid and blood glucose screenings.

Additionally, the American Red Cross will be on site for a community blood drive on Monday, Jan. 16, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Appointments for the blood drive are required. Please call 828.684.4525 to schedule an appointment.
