Patton Avenue Pet Company and El Kimchi teamed up for a joint grand opening today, Jan. 14, at 1388 Patton Avenue in West Asheville.

The new pet store bustled with excitement, as owner Jenna Yarosh offered nutritional advice and free samples of healthy products for animals.

Randi Brodsky, from Dog Oasis Grooming Salon, had customers lined up to get their pets' nails trimmed, while Jenny White, from Dog-Ed, offered great behavioral advice.

Outside, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue let their adoptable pups play in the store's dog park, and Jimmy and Don Lee of El Kimchi served up delicious Korean-Mexican tacos. The food-truck was so successful, the Lees ran out of food early.

If you missed today's event, the store will be open on Sunday from 11 a.m. - 5.p.m.
