A Ceremonial Goodbye and Community Closure at Former Richmond Hill Inn

OM Sanctuary, the new owner of the riverfront property, will hold a Community Closure on Saturday, January 28, 2012, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The open event is for the public to explore the country inn for the last time as it exists today with the Garden Pavilion, Croquet Cottages, Carriage House, expansive gardens, and the walking trails.

The event will offer free well-being demonstrations in the Carriage House from 1:15 pm to 3:15 pm, with live music by hammer dulcimer player Mary Sparks. Local natural food vendors will be on-site with samples of chocolate truffles, raspberry jam, and more. At 3:30 pm, a closure ceremony will take place in the Garden Pavilion with speakers Jack Thomson, Executive Director of the Preservation Society, Marge Michel of RHI, Jim Samsel RHI architect, Karen Cragnolin, Executive Director of RiverLink, and Shelli Stanback, OM Sanctuary's Board Chair.
