Asheville is filled to the brim with talent, and NBC's "America's Got Talent" show knows it. Here's a direct appeal from one of the show's casting producers about the upcoming auditions in Charlotte next month.

My name is Dorian, Casting Producer in Los Angeles for the TV show in its 7th season, "America's Got Talent," on NBC. We are currently auditioning for our upcoming season, so I’m in search for amazing talent! I’m hoping to get your talent suggestions from across the U.S. that you think are OUTSTANDING of ANY kind, ANY age, and ANY size. If you are talented or know of talent that you think would do very well on our show, I want to know about them! If you also have suggestions as to any other companies or agencies I should contact, please let me know.

We'll be in Charlotte, NC on February 3rd & 4th, 2012!

We are looking for all kinds of talent: Hip and Edgy dancers, Comedy Troops, musicians, baton twirlers, speed artists, ballet,jugglers, acrobats, ice sculptors, magicians, martial artists, bands, circus, vaudeville, burlesque, sideshow, freak, aerialists, comedians, pyro performers, and other unique, amazing performances that we've never seen before. If you have anything that you've come across, please let me know. Solos, groups, large, small, kids, adults, etc... I'm open! If you can imagine paying for a ticket in Vegas to see them, GREAT!
I'm reaching out to you because I know there is at LEAST one performer or performance group in your mind or in the minds around you at Mountain Xpress that is potentially capable of winning our show. I would love names and any information to anyone you think would shine on our show, or I ask that you to have them contact me ASAP. If you've come across any performances that you think could actually win the show because they are THAT amazing, people that could, in your opinion, easily make the top 20, I’d love to hear from them!
