Partners of over 30 years the Rev. Kathryn Cartledge and Elizabeth Eve were arrested on Oct. 14 for refusing to leave the Register of Deeds office during a protest of North Carolina's prohibition of same-sex marriage.

Today was their day in court. Both were found guilty and fined $10 plus court costs.
