"The Alchemy Collection will feature fashion items that express the interplay between our daily selves and a costumed role," explains the call to artists. Original short story submissions are being accepted through Sunday, May 13; winning work will directly inspire apparel and set design for the collection. "A selection of three to five fable, fiction, or fairytale ideas will be chosen. ...Chosen stories will be showcased on Unabashed Apparel’s online journal, and the authors will be featured as contributing artists for all official media for The Alchemy Collection by Unabashed Apparel. Authors will retain all rights to their work and agree to Unabashed Apparelʼs usage rights," says the press release. There's a 2000-word limit per submission.
