According to the Hendersonville Times-News, Alcohol can be sold at special events in Hendersonville if organizers apply for a permit, City Council members decided Thursday.
The council also tentatively approved the creation of a dog park off the Oklawaha Greenway and agreed to allow taxi companies to raise their rates.
Council members said alcohol permits will be approved on a case-by-case basis, and event organizers must meet the state's criteria for selling alcohol, apply for a special permit and adhere to curfews that end the sale and consumption of alcohol.
