Revs. Judith and Philip Toy of Cloud Cottage Community of Mindful Living (219 Old Toll Circle, Black Mountain), host a two-hour workshop on forgiveness. Judith Toy is the author of Murder as a Call to Love, A True Story of Transformation and Forgiveness, an account of how she used the practice of mindfulness meditation to forgive the killer of three of her family members.
The event, held on Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m.-noon, includes "journaling, mindfulness meditation, discussion and a non-religious forgiveness exercise, to begin the journey of forgiving self and others." It's open to all who are interested, cost is by donation. Go here to register.
