Since their opening in 2009, Posana Cafe has celebrated their anniversary each May by having a special fundraiser for ASAP’s Growing Minds Farm to School program. This year is no different! Posana will have a special Appalachian Grown menu from which local food lovers can order. The proceeds from that menu will support connecting farms and schools and give children positive experiences with local food.
Posana’s special night for Growing Minds is presented in conjunction with ASAP’s Get Local campaign. Get Local highlights a local ingredient each month that reflects our region’s changing, seasonal harvest. Each month, ASAP will partner with a different restaurant to celebrate the local ingredient of the month. ASAP is excited to be working with Posana to celebrate lettuce in May. So look for delicious local lettuce as part of this special night!
