According to an ACS release, the title, Rytmus, is "borrowed from a piece by the venerable Slovak composer Ivan Hrusovsky," and is Latin for rhythm. The performance will feature "a number of innovative works, both traditional and contemporary, that exemplify the many ways composers explore, and even exploit, rhythm."
