So why are these very inclusive liberal progressives trying to silence free speech?
Such hostility for anyone that would dare to quote Scripture. It's scary! What about free speech? Oh I get it, only if the speech is the politically correct kind ... and sanctioned by the rabble that congregate downtown.
I can remember when I was growing up there were street preachers in Asheville ... And I never saw such disrespect and outright hatred and ridicule, as is seen in Asheville today. This hatred and disrespect didn't happen in the past. Today there is no respect for opposing viewpoints in Asheville. The heritage of the Mountains has always included the preaching of the Gospel, and the influences of faith. So what's the problem today? It seems Street Preachers are only welcome if they tow the liberal/progressive line.
Preaching has been done outside of bars ... without the lack of hostility and respect seen in Asheville.
I think the dust should be brushed from their shoes, and Asheville should be abandoned to their own lusts ... as they cannot stand sound doctrine.
14“Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet. 15“Truly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city. << Matthew 10:14 >>
