Town Manager Mark Biberdorf said the unnamed industry plans to invest $4.3 million in a new building and equipment and create 72 jobs. He spoke with council members during an information session at town hall.
The company is looking for an economic incentive agreement from the town, Biberdorf said. The town’s annual incentive grant payment would be $9,000 a year over a five-year period.
Henderson County is a finalist in the company’s site selection process, Partnership for Economic Development Executive Director Andrew Tate said. The manufacturer is looking at several locations throughout the U.S. for the new plant. ...
