What: The annual Bamboo Festival of the American Bamboo Society’s Southeastern Chapter
Where: The festival will be held in the North Carolina Arboretum’s Education Center.
When: Saturday, July 16, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. ; and Sunday, July 17, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Why: Visitors will learn about the functionality of bamboo through lectures and hands-on workshops, including introductions to farming bamboo. Plants, crafts and products will also be for sale by festival vendors.
