Hendersonville, N.C. (August 8, 2012) – The Park Ridge Health Foundation welcomed 120 golfers to its 13th Annual Partners in Health Golf Classic on Monday. The annual golf classic was held at Champion Hill Club and raised nearly $55,000 to support upcoming renovations at Park Ridge Health, including the hospital’s Medical-Surgical Unit, Telemetry Unit, Intensive Care Unit and patient rooms on all three units.

“This year’s tournament was really a tribute to our community and to what Park Ridge Health is doing for our community,” said John Ellis, Board Chair of the Park Ridge Health Foundation and chairman of the Golf Committee. “Many community members said ‘thanks’ to Park Ridge by donating to a worthy cause that will directly improve patient experience.“

Southeastern Sports Medicine was the presenting sponsor of this year’s Golf Classic, just one of 54 sponsors that included Eagle Sponsors Beystone Health & Rehabilitation and Park Ridge Geriatrics. “This was the best turnout the Golf Classic has seen in three or four years,” said Ellis. “Some of the feedback I received was that the course was beautiful, the food was wonderful and the prizes were great.”
