Percussionist/vocalist Mike Dillon is one-third of punk/jazz trio Dead Kenny Gs; but the Mike Dillon Band (whose bio states, "We like to melt faces with the vibraphone") is a different breed of band. Dillon plays that face-melting vibraphone in this punk-edged dance party quartet.
Here, they play "Lunatic Express":
Dillon was just at Asheville Music Hall last month. Now he and his band return to open for Chicago-based jam band Strange Arrangement.
