The city of Asheville's Transit Commission will hold an "extraordinary meeting" Wednesday, Oct. 10, to discuss the possible purchase of two used buses from the city of Gastonia.
The meeting will be from 2:30-3 p.m. on the fifth floor of City Hall. According to city staff, the meeting is necessary to get the item on Asheville City Council's agenda before the end of the month, so it can also be approved by Gastonia's Council.
