Whiskey Shivers, from Austin, Texas, is "A freewheelin', trashgrassin', folk tornado." According to the band's bio, they "take traditional instrumentation, soak it in gas and send it into outer space." Which sounds a little bit frightening, and a lot awesome. Ryan Seacrest and Perez Hilton have said nice-ish things about them. They play upright bass, fiddle, washboard, banjo and guitar and (rumor has it) sing songs about the Mario Brothers.
