Thank you for Kyle Sherard's perceptive article about "Vadim Bora: A Visual Legacy of Expressive Freedom, From Initial Spark to Final Form," the retrospective at Warren Wilson College’s Holden Gallery [”Vadim Realism,” Oct. 24]. To see the arc of Vadim's work all at once is a wonderful reminder of the man and artist: a master of technique, a wide-ranging imagination, a big-hearted spirit.
I hope young Asheville artists will see this show. It's inspiration for how to shape a life in art.
