UNC Asheville's College for Seniors Fall Catalog now online; registration starts August 18

The course catalog for UNC Asheville’s nationally renowned College for Seniors is now available online, with full descriptions of the 96 courses offered, at unca.edu/ncccr. Online and in-person registration will begin August 18. Classes will be held Sept. 19-Nov. 11, at the North Carolina Center for Creative Retirement, in UNC Asheville’s Reuter Center.

College for Seniors students can explore everything from the architecture of Asheville to elder law. History courses can be mixed with recreation, literature classes with personal development, finance courses with contemporary issues, or music classes with science. There's something for everyone, and no tests or grades are given.

Cost for College for Seniors is $115 for limitless courses. Students must also pay the $60 annual membership fee to the North Carolina Center for Creative Retirement. Membership benefits include a campus parking permit, access to the university library, discounts on special events and more.
