Take a trip to northern Spain with clarinetist Oskar Espina Ruiz. His upcoming concert will span nearly two centuries of music, with neoclassical and classical works by a variety of composers. The program will include a work by living Spanish composer Luis De Pablo, written to commemorate the 250th anniversary of J.S. Bach’s passing.
Oskar Espina Ruiz was born in Bilbao, Spain and his early musical training was on Basque folk instruments. He quickly progressed to classical clarinet and has performed in New York City, Hong Kong and Moscow.
