Asheville - The Asheville Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in a sexual assault that occurred on or about December 16, 2012 in the area of the Ramada Inn on Smokey Park Highway. The subject is a white male, approximately fifty years of age, around six feet tall, with sandy brown hair and bushy eyebrows. If anyone knows the identity of the suspect, please call the Asheville Police Department at 828-252-1110 or Crime Stoppers at 828-255-5050 or send a tip via text message specifically to the Asheville PD by Texting "APDTIP plus your tip" to 274637 (CRIMES).
