Hendersonville Times-News reports:
The Henderson County Board of Commissioners voted today not to amend the county's animal ordinance following more strong opposition from residents and animal welfare organization leaders.

Commissioners agreed to leave the ordinance unchanged in a 4-1 vote during the morning meeting. Commissioner Bill O'Connor was the lone supporter of a proposed amendment that would have made it legal to sell cats and dogs at open-air markets...
