From the North Buncombe Middle School Parent Teacher OrganizationNorth Buncombe Middle School PTO is pleased to present the 1st annual North Buncombe Chilly Challenge 8K timed race and 1 mile fun run on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 10 a.m. The rolling hill course starts at North Buncombe Middle School in Weaverville and is listed on the Grand Prix Race series of the Asheville Track Club. Special thanks to Platinum sponsor Earthfare! After the race, the PTO will host a chili cook off. The cost for the 8K is $25 by January 31, and after is $30. The cost of the 1 mile is $15.00. Registration includes a long sleeve T-shirt and chili tasting. Register online at active.com or go to the North Buncombe Middle School website.
