Money, neighborhoods, water, the legislature, and noise are just a few of the matters Asheville City Council will receive information on tomorrow night, as the agenda is packed with an array of reports.
Council will hear eight reports, including updates from the Neighborhood Advisory Committee and the Noise Ordinance Appeals Board, as well as more on negotiations about a possible merger of its water system with the Metropolitan Sewerage District and what the state legislative agenda may hold for the year.
Staff will also provide more information on the city's financial situation, which could offer some tricky dilemmas this year.
New rules allowing for additions to one-story buildings in downtown are also before Council. The changes have been requested by a number of businesses seeking to expand or renovate existing structures.
Asheville City Council meets at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26 on the second floor of City Hall.
