Here's an excerpt from the Asheville Citizen-Times article:

A bill to be introduced today in the state General Assembly would clear the way for Buncombe County Commissioner Mike Fryar to become a member of the Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College board.

The measure would circumvent an effort by A-B Tech President Hank Dunn to keep Fryar, who has criticized Dunn and a sales tax increase to pay for a building program at the school, off the board of trustees.
