It's time to say goodbye to Brian McGee. The local Americana favorite began his musical career in Philadelphia as frontman for punk band Plow United, but found a home in the Asheville old-time scene after relocating to WNC 11 years ago to pursue woodworking. Now, he's parting with his adopted home to pursue other avenues, including shows with his former band and a possible solo record (read more about his plans here). McGee officially bids farewell with a performance at The Grey Eagle Saturday, but we caught up with the singer at his home, piled high with moving boxes, for an acoustic rendition of Plow United's "The World According to Me."
