Sierra Club Endorses Chris Pelly for Asheville City Council!
Chris has a lifelong commitment to the environment, and will work to create green jobs in Asheville.
Asheville needs sidewalks, greenways and bike lanes, and building them will provide much needed jobs in our area.
Chris Pelly will listen to your needs, and act to implement them as your neighborhood representative on City Council.
"With demand growing for safe walking and bike riding options, I will support expanding our sidewalk and greenway networks to ensure all neighborhoods are adequately served. Using our city’s Pedestrian Plan and Greenway Master Plan as guides, I will work to ensure improvement plans are implemented. Comprehensive improvements may require a voter-approved bond referendum."
