ASHEVILLE—Asheville City Council Candidate Mark Cates will host the first of many “Have a Cold One with Cates” beer socials this Wednesday, September 7, at 6:30 p.m. at Avenue M restaurant at 791 Merrimon Avenue.
“Asheville has the best craft beer in the nation, and some of the best local restaurants,” Cates said. “So I say let’s combine the two to support the local economy while we talk about ways to improve the city, create quality jobs and develop a sustainable economy.”
Highland Gaelic Ale will be the featured local beer for the event. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served. Admission is free. Read the full article
