Roots rocker Langhorne Slim makes his way through Asheville on a fairly regular basis (he’s been known to stop in Asheville on a day off from tour, even if he’s not scheduled to play a show here).

Last week he and his band, The Law, shared a bill with Deer Tick at The Orange Peel. In advance of that show, Langhorne Slim played two new, as-yet-unrecorded songs for Acoustic Asheville in a solo performance at Asheville Area Arts Council.
