Stoneleaf: A Festival of North Carolina Theatre happens in Asheville venues Friday, May 27 through Sunday, June 5 and includes comedy, drama, musicals, improvisation and children’s theater presented by more than 20 of the state’s theater companies.

Friday, May 27

2 p.m.: The Quest — YMI Cultural Center

4 p.m.: The Witch & the Magic Mountain — Asheville Community Theatre

4 p.m.: Lipstick Traces — North Carolina Stage Company

4 p.m.: The Nina Variations — Wedge Gallery

5 p.m.: Opening Evening Gala — Location to be determined

7 p.m.: Hounded — Asheville Arts Center

8 p.m.: The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) — Diana Wortham Theatre

8 p.m.: Romulus Linney’s Silver River — UNCA Carol Belk Theatre

8 p.m.: Mamaleh! — Asheville Community Theatre

8 p.m.: Dirty Blonde — North Carolina Stage Company

8 p.m.: Everything in the Garden (Plaeides) — Be Be Theatre

8 p.m.: The Nina Variations — Wedge Gallery

1 p.m.: Aesop’s Fables — YMI Cultural Center
