Bluegrass legend and Deep Gap, N.C., native Doc Watson performs with David Holt at Diana Wortham Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.

NPR called her "the Billie Holiday of Alt Country," and her 1998 album Car Wheels on a Gravel Road topped every music critic "Best Of" list in the land. Lucinda Williams plays a benefit concert for Wild South on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 8 p.m. at Pisgah Brewing.
