Asheville’s Black Rabbits selected for a GAP holiday mix tape-attachment0

Xpress already knew The Black Rabbits were rock stars. We’ve been talking about indie rockers since they relocated from Orlando earlier this year. The band’s amp caught on fire during their LAAFF performance. And their debut, Hypno Switch really rocks. Apparently retailer GAP got the memo and included one of the local band’s songs on a compilation.

Says NYLON Magazine, “Just because Gap isn’t charging for music doesn’t mean it still doesn’t have some for its fans. This month, they’ve put fifteen tracks on their Facebook page for anyone / everyone to download.”

The Joy It Up mix is available here, where Asheville’s Black Rabbits rub elbows with Boy and Bear, The Boxer Rebellion and others.
