Biltmore Summer Concerts in focus

Not all of us can afford tix for the Biltmore Estate’s summer concert series, but now we can all see a bit of what we might’ve missed through the lens of Xpress’ multimedia phenom, Jason Sandford.

He’s posted photo galleries of every one of the concerts to the Xpress Web site. Sandford heads out again Saturday to cover the sold-out Beach Boys — look for that gallery soon.

This year, the series offered a variety of musicians, from contemporary-Christian singer Stephen Curtis Chapman to blues legend B.B. King. Biltmore is bringing in some big names, and each show is set against some stunning mountain views.

Sandford says there’ve been some memorable moments, including Chapman tearfully talking about the May death of his 5-year-old daughter, and the reminiscing of 82-year-old B.B. King, who knows more than most about the blues.

  1. Kinda of a bad pitch…since your broke and you can’t afford to attend a live music event… here are some still pictures to look at to see what you missed.
It’s like watching porn but everyone is dressed in ponchos.
